Srinagar is the central city connecting all the tourist places around it. It is full of gardens and the great Dal and Nigeen lakemade by the Moguls. Some of them maintained by government. The best is the Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden, which is opened in full bloom for a few weeks in April. However we were lucky to attend its pre-poned opening in the end of 2nd week of March itself.
Boulevard road:
Runs around the Dal lake. It is very clean and well maintained road. In March it was almost empty.
